Description
Secondary Emulsifier is a specialty oilfield chemical additive used in oil-based and synthetic-based drilling fluids to enhance and support invert emulsion stability. It works alongside the Primary Emulsifier to improve emulsion robustness, thermal stability, and tolerance to contaminants such as calcium, solids, and drilled cuttings.
Secondary Emulsifiers are essential in high-temperature, high-pressure (HTHP) drilling environments and extended-reach wells.
